quickly before to mood passes! alright, im writing now annnnd aaaa goddamn. well, yes things have been the same. as always I've been reading. right now i am reading a 1024 page book called "The Incas" its pretty good but im not far into it yet. i posted some more reviews on the blog, mostly of books, since that's what im into right now. most of my time has been spent lazing about and taking care of my mom. right now, im sleepy but am still waiting for the clothes to dry. the news anchor on ctv's "the national" just stated that the my local news is coming up next; the same stories of the last two local news casts but with slightly different editing. man, ctv is so lacking in comparsion to cbc, where i can watch the nature of things with david suzuki and other intresting docs. the news itself on cbc's "the national" is tons better; stories that i actually find intresting instead of this person got shot on that part of town and the weather, ctv always ends up advertising the weather as... The freakin psycic was at my friends place when I came back. I damn near forgot they were cousins and of course she like her damn cousin but worse was talking about how we feel off. But we didn't so much fall off; as much as I hit it and stopped calling her because she's kind of crazy. Then she said something about my weight, so that shit defiantely wasn't going to get her any attention. (Sidenote: "Call me mister flinestone, I can make your bed rock") Damn dread. How I forgot about the psycic? One time, in Naperville, I was in the passenger seat of my dad's car, babbling away as usual while the two of us made our weekly mecca to our favorite Mexican restaurant. At the time, I was 17 and still deeply immersed in the coma-inducing process of choosing and applying to colleges. More often than not, during these car rides my prattling had something to do with 1) college, 2) financing my education, or 3) how annoying it was that I was always being forced to talk about college or financing my education. No doubt prompted by one of my teachers or a counselor, during this particular escapade I was attempting to list out the top five things I was looking for in a school--my All Time, Desert Island, Top Five List of what mattered to me most. I can't remember what #1 was, or, for that matter, #2. Pretty much the only thing that made that car ride memorable at all was the fact that #3 was, "the school has to be pretty."
